Its flow velocity*area not windspeed*volume, that would give units of m^4/s which makes no sense.

Started out by browsing at a Hunter Douglass reseller, since I got a new house a few years back. Few of the homes I looked at touted that they had them installed. So, got an estimate to see what it'd roughly be for a few windows (and then for the whole house for fun) and... 🤯lol. Yeah, yours were expensive $500/ea but what I was looking at was north of $1.2-$1.5k/ea. I still got some just for my home office (I may gradually add more over time if I'm satisfied with them) but that alone ran me about $2k for just a few windows. They are high end but damn I was surprised with how expensive it could get, for sure.

It's numbers appear to be way off since I get better cleaning with the 45 degree tip and my 2800PSI gas washer. That said, it's a step in the right direction for electric since it doesn't need the rotary tip to get decent PSI. Anyone getting a pressure washer, be it gas or electric/battery, I can't emphasize enough to get a surface cleaner. I've found they've cut my flat surface cleaning times by 2/3 to 3/4s of doing it with a fan tip.

Good tips. My top row of drawers are slab and the lowers are all framed, so I went center mounted on the top and placed the handles on the top rail of the lower drawers. My door/drawer rail and stiles are on the thicker side (2 -1/2"). If I had mounted them centered like the top, then the handles would have been on the inset panel and pushed back, not line up when viewed from the side. It also makes them a bit easier to reach and looks nice since all framed doors and drawers have their handles located on the rail or stile of the frames (besides providing a more ridged location to mount).

I'd be interested in seeing more on this. Really as much on this subject as possible. I've been watching videos reviewing stud finders and it freaks me how inaccurate they can be. I like the concept of avoiding the middle of the stud but I don't want to rely on someone else having done their job right in order to avoid 'pandemonium'. 💦 🔥 ⚡️ I knicked a wire for a fan heater in my bathroom once before when I was putting up a shower rail. I didn't find out until I turned it on at the wall and it started sparking... I've got the fear.

Here are some pro tips from a real painter with 25+ years experience. Tip #1 Use a Wet Rag and keep a bucket of water close. Tip #2 Never ever ever use a paper towel. It can fall apart and put trash in your hard work. When your rag gets dirty rinse it in the bucket and ring it out. Dirty water drips will leave a haze . I use 1 rag to do an entire house. Tip #3 Clean the tip and your finger after every swipe with your rag. Tip #4 Tape only works if you smooth it down completely. Don't leave it too long or it will peel the paint and texture underneath. Tip #5 Wet your finger or caulking tool before you smooth it out. Tip #6 Don't push too hard with your finger when smoothing it. Think of it like you're icing a cake. If you have a big crack fill it completely. Run your finger down one side smoothing it against the wall. Then do the other side smoothing it against the trim. Get your finger really wet and then smooth the ridge in the center.

Great video! I bought a cheap $99 electric pressure washer about ten years ago for around the house. It’s not as powerful as the one you reviewed…but it serves the purpose for my needs. I do hate dragging a power cord around…but it’s not that big of a deal.

Yesterday I did a search for "best way to cut carpet" (I'm installing hardwood) and this video was the second one suggested. Thank you so much for these tips! They were all spot on fantastic, but the shovel tip is the best. Today I prepped my 16' x 24' living room for the hardwood install - carpet removal, tack board removal, staple removal, all of it, and I was done in three hours. Out of five rooms I've put hardwood flooring in, this room is the biggest and the prep time was shortest. You saved me a bunch of time and a whole bunch of hassle!

Would finger joint stop work if I rip that? I’m trying to figure out how to cover some gaps between floating floor edges and baseboards. Baseboards just aren’t thick enough to cover all the gaps because the flooring I installed had instructions to leave 1/2” to 3/4” gap on outside for expansion. I don’t want to get thicker baseboards because I want baseboards to be thinner than casing.
